Advisory & Consulting

Clear advice for complex commercial decisions.

The best dispute is the one that never happens. Sound contracts, honest reporting and early intervention prevent most of the problems that end up in formal proceedings.

KHAN ADRS advises clients, contractors, consultants and boards on commercial strategy, contracts, procurement, governance and risk, bringing independent judgement to decisions where the stakes are high, and acting decisively when a dispute cannot be avoided.

Frequently asked questions

What is adjudication and when is it used?+

Adjudication is a fast, interim-binding dispute process available as of right under the Construction Act 1996 for most UK construction contracts. The adjudicator reaches a decision within 28 days of referral, which binds the parties until finally resolved by litigation, arbitration or agreement.

Do you advise clients or contractors?+

Both, as well as consultants, funders and boards. In an advisory capacity the role is to give independent, practical advice; conflict checks ensure KHAN ADRS does not advise opposing parties on the same matter.

Can advice stay confidential?+

Yes. Advisory engagements are confidential, and the aim is usually to resolve issues quietly and commercially before they ever become public disputes.
