Services

Non-Executive Director

Independent challenge and judgement at board level.

Boards perform best when someone in the room asks the questions everyone else is avoiding. A non-executive director brings independence, constructive challenge and an outside perspective to strategy, risk and governance.

Nasir Khan MBE serves as a non-executive director and board advisor, bringing independent commercial judgement, governance experience and sector insight to organisations across construction, infrastructure, energy and utilities.

Frequently asked questions

What does a non-executive director do?+

A NED is a full board member who is not part of day-to-day management. They contribute to strategy, scrutinise performance, oversee risk and governance, and bring independent judgement and external perspective.

What sectors are the best fit?+

Construction, infrastructure, transport, energy, nuclear and utilities businesses, and professional firms serving them, where commercial, contractual and governance experience adds the most value.

Do you take advisory roles short of a full NED seat?+

Yes, board-advisor and committee-advisor roles are available where a full non-executive appointment is not (yet) the right step.

For NED or board advisory conversations, use the NED enquiry form or download the NED Profile.
